OUR STORY
As a long standing member of the PC(USA), First Presbyterian Church, Lexington has been serving the broader community since 1873. Our congregation exists to worship, serve and praise God. We are people called by God to do His work, recognizing that a true life of prayer and faith requires us to live as we talk.
MEET THE PASTOR
I am convinced that I am, first and foremost, a beloved child of God, warts and all. This means that each one of you is a beloved child of God and that simple fact makes you worthy of full acceptance, just as you are. At First Presbyterian Church, we endeavor to create a physically, emotionally and spiritually safe space. Questions are most welcome and story sharing is encouraged because faith and doubt are not mutually exclusive. When examined through questions and sharing, doubt grows faith. You being a beloved child of God is enough for me. You are welcome here.
